He leads her to the cozy dance floor where a small band is playing light classical music. He pulls her towards him and they begin dancing a simple waltz.

Melinda smiles up at him, enjoying the closeness she feels. He smiles back and then pulls her closer. She wraps her arms around him and puts her head on his shoulder. They are no longer dancing a waltz; they are swaying softly to the music, holding each other.

Melinda feels that nothing has been more right than this moment, wrapped in Greg's arms. She feels no guilt as she does when she is with Wayne. Instead she feels a beautiful freedom, the freedom to love someone and to be able to show it to the world.
"I've fallen in love with you, Melinda," she hears Greg whisper. She can feel his warm breath on her ear and she shivers a delicious shiver of happiness.
She squeezes him in response and then pulls back and looks into his eyes, still swaying with him to the music.
He pulls her close to him again and sighs happily. She closes her eyes, wishing that the moment would never end.
When the music stops, Melinda is reluctant to let go of Greg. But she steps back, holding both of his hands in hers. They look into each other's eyes, both realizing that something magical has just taken place.
"Let's get out of here," Greg says softly. "I know a place down by the river where we can go. It's less formal than here."
She nods her head in agreement. "Ok," she whispers, smiling.
